GridLiance is committed to providing reliable electric transmission to customers while protecting the environment.
Because GridLiance often builds and operates transmission lines in remote areas with unique natural environments, we work hard to limit the impact we have on wildlife and manage natural resources efficiently in accordance with all local, state, and federal environmental guidelines.
Prior to developing transmission projects, we conduct rigorous environmental analyses and apply best practices when it comes to endangered species and sensitive habitats.
We also ensure that the contractors and vendors we hire apply these same processes and procedures when working for us. We are proud of these efforts, which have included protecting the flight path of the whooping crane in Kansas and the burrows of desert tortoises in the Nevada.
