Volunteering
GridLiance’s greatest asset is our employees. We know the difference they make on a daily basis and that is why we encourage them to volunteer where they live and work. So, while we are a relatively small company, it is not surprising that our impact is big.
In 2019 alone, GridLiance helped raise $65,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star through fundraising, employee donations and matching grants. Beyond providing financial support for BBBS Lone Star, GridLiance employees also provided access to 10,000 meals for chronically hungry children, families, and seniors in need in North Texas through individual financial and food donations.
10% of our employees now volunteer as mentors with Irving High School students in North Texas.
Community Giving
As we work to fulfill our mission to ensure reliable transmission for all customers across the country, GridLiance also works to bolster those communities and contribute to their success. Whether that is supporting art festivals, school fundraising drives, or environmental activities, we are committed to being a part of the community.
